consider changing the ignition cassette, assuming it has that big red 300 dollar
piece like my '91 cd has...i just changed mine at 90k (app. 150kkm). my
symptoms were the same...poor idle, variable performance during accelaration,
&ct. every now and again i would simply have a cylinder not firing...car did
not like that. neither did driver. if the thing is hitting right i don't think
a scope would spot it either. that was the problem with the problem; it was
intermittent and you just had to 'catch it at the right time.' just .02 worth.
i love the car otherwise; just ate a mustang gt for lunch the other day <g>.
