Can anyone from the US please pass me an ISBN number for a Bentley's manual
(or ISBNs for any SAABs covered by Bentley). I can then easily check if we
can get the books in the UK. The bookshop is 6 flights of stairs down the
way from my office :-)

I ll get back to you on that!

Charles :-)

BTW.
Guru, I am not sure
I never used Bentley manuals. Knowledge has been gained through an older
Haynes manual (new ones are not so good) and reading everything else I could
find. Running 2 old SAABs without money to go to a mechanich works
miracles. The first was a 1979 900 EMS which literally dropped off its body
work until it went to a junk yard had to have its engine out 'cause the old
starter motor ring on the torque converter wents for a walk. (1979s to
1982/83 900s rusted badly)

The second was a 1983 GLs (engine out 3 times, eventually 1 cracked head, 1
replacement and rebuild engine) Between both cars innumerable CV joint boots,
5 complete overhalls of front brake callipers (eventually I bought rebuilt
callipers), ball joints, one dropped rear axle (fancied heavy duty spring in
the back). I never did much work stripping the inside of cars, body work and
other cosmetic things. Only job I would still like to tackle is strip and
rebuilt a five speed gearbox and transmission.

Now running a 2 year old 9000 CSE lpt.
