How weird, It sounds like the unit is being powered up as if the key were
in position 2, Question, Does your dash work as well, or does your stereo
work as well?

And what a cheek, putting 120 miles on your car, I take there arses to
court. !!!

I hate to tell you this but that really sounds like a wiring loom problem,
Has it always done it?
