Would there be a warranty on it? Given the substantial maintenance items
you've taken care of recently on yours, and the ones that are left, it looks
like an even gamble either way. Why not just stick with the one for which you
are familiar with all the 'issues'?

> lack of a better word) capacity?

With seats folded, the cubic footage is nearly identical for both, 56.5 I
think. The 9000 has the more usable space though, IMO, by a small margin. The
floor space is wider and the seats fold 60/40, where the 900's fold in one
piece. The 9000 also has a couple useful cargo hooks in the trunk for bungie
cords that I don't think the 900s have.

> 3) Is there any difference in reliability between the two?

This is the only think I have ever found Consumer Reports useful for -- the two
are pretty much the same, if I remember. The 9000 had some notably bad marks
for the electrical system.

One difference that I would have never guessed is in the insurance rates. I
was all prepared to get an '89 900S 4-door for my first car (5 years ago), but
after speaking to my family's insurance agent and finding out that a '91 9000T
cost about the same to insure, I got a 9000. The quote I got on an '89 900T was
positively astronomical.

Hope this helps!
