9000S exhaust Bellows
Posted by Jack Brooks (more from Jack Brooks) on Thu, 8 Jun 2000 12:35:33
Some time back there was some discussion about a Toyota (Landcruiser?)
woven stainless steel, exhaust system, expansion joint which could be
retrofitted to the 9000S exhaust system, to replace the OEM stainless steel
bellows. The Toyota part was used instead of the non-replaceable metal
bellows Saab used. I can't seem to located that post....and it's time.

Our 1988 9000 is just starting to suffer a separation of the bellows from
the pipe. The double down tubes off the exhaust manifold must be replaced
to get the metal bellows from Saab and they are relatively expensive
compared to this Toyota part. Unfortunately, I need to take care of it
soon, as we are driving halfway across the country in a few weeks.

Can anyone provide the Toyota part number or application?

Thanks in advance,

Jack Brooks
