Check Engine light
Posted by Damon Rogers (more from Damon Rogers) on Tue, 3 Oct 2000 13:41:37
Hi, I have a 90 9000s with 114 kMi on it, and every once and awile the check engine light come on. It will stay on for 5 -10 minutes and then go off. Then later it will do the same again, some time I can go for a long time before it comes back on, but once and a wile it will go off then come back on in about 10 minutes. The car runs great, and even when the check engine light is on there is no difference in the way it runs. Anyway, I would like to figure out what the problem is because every time it comes on it makes me nervus. Also, is there a way you can pull the codes from the computer like you can on the 900s or do you actually need to bring it to a Saab Dealer to get the codes? Thank you..
