All current Saab 4 cylinder motors take the same thread & gasket size
filter as the 'Classic' slant-4 2.0 liter motors. Saab's current
filter is a 'small' filter, smaller than the old blue filters and the
Mann filters, but it fits all.
The older, larger filter may well fit (it will thread on), but
whether there is enough space around it to maneuver, I don't know.
