It's a fine, wonderful, durable, competent automobile that can be a little
pricey to fix, but to anyone that thinks they'd be happier in an
Intrepid/Taurus/Malibu/Camry/Accord I say go for it. If you can't tell
the difference then these cars really aren't for you in the first place.
Mjollnir's r/f wheel bearing has packed it in over the past week or so and
owing to the need for a press to replace it, I'm going to pay someone to
do the job. When my financial director rolls her eyes at the price tag,
I'm thrilled to pull out the maintenance log: oil change, oil change, oil
change, oil change, brake pads, oil change, oil change, etc.
Around once a year I pay for a repair such as the aforementioned wheel
bearing.
