Halo (like an angel's halo) lighting is a feature whereby you turn on the parking and interior lights with the key fob as you approach the car for security reasons.
Halogen lights are a type of headlight bulb that has halogen gas in it surrounding the filament. Saabs with xenon headlignts, headlight bulbs with xenon gas in them and no filament as the xenon gas it what glows, anyway xenon lights have halogens next to them that only work in the flash to pass mode which US cars don't have. You can flash your halogens when you have xenons only when the car is off, then the halogen bulbs next to the projector beam xenons will flash.
