I don't know how 700hp got into the discussion...But, you have not answered the question regarding stress on the B234/235 engines. How did you conclude that they are under such great stress when producing 250+hp?
Don't get me wrong, I like the concept of the V6 other than the added weight and tight fit. There is absolutely no data that supports the notion that the V6 will last longer than the 4.
I have a CSE anniversary edition...basically an Aero, with automatic trans. it is modified with exhaust, airfilter and stage 3 ecu. it produces 265+hp and 300+ ft. lbs. torque. The car has 112k miles on it and runs perfect...very smooth. there are no leaks..approaches 30mpg hwy.
Time will tell.
