Like I said.....Where are the numbers to back up your claim? You mention some metalurgical fundamentals which logically are relevant to the issue. However, real world, this does not seem to apply to SAAB. There are a lot of very high milage turbos running around. The '82 900 turbo that I first purchased and modified is still in service with the original engine plus a couple of turbos...400,000+miles. it depends on how the engine is designed and manufactured.
