"QUIRKY" - in the nicest sense of the word, of course, but there is way more to Saab than that! Bwik used the word "Scandinavian" in a rather unusual way but I know exactly where he is coming from. Its that whole "ergonomic form and function ethos" they seem to have going on in their mind when they design something. Someone mentioned Bang & Olufsen which is an awesome example. It's top quality, simple, non-superfluous yet exquisite design - kind of like a 9-3SS really! :-)

There is more to it than that but its hard to put into words - its just "Scandinavian".
