I test drove a '06 9-3 Aero at the dealer a few months back just to try it out. I did like the deep sound from the dual exhaust initially, but after driving a couple of minutes on the highway, I could see it getting tiresome.
I enjoyed the power and feel, but the noise was a little loud of our taste. Comparing it to our '02 9-5 Aero Wagon and it was definitely louder. The SPG is a different story, but that is also a different feeling vehicle.
Just my 2 cents.
