Peeling is clearly a problem, but neither my 2003 nor my 2006 exhibit any such signs. I clean the dash and vinyl surfaces when I wash the car, typically using a damp chamois. I seldom use Armorall on the interior, because of the textured surfaces, and I put a towel over the dash when using glass cleaner on the insided. Car is in Central Illinois climate with extremes of cold and hea, but always garaged. Neither have I had any problem with loss of emblems and other cosmetic issues reported here.

Would be interesting to find the cause of the peeling problem; someone at Saab must have investigated by now, and a report available somewhere.

In general, I find the dash and interior to be about as attractive as the other European makes, with Audi perhaps having a slight edge. Saab could probably make it a little less utilitarian for my taste, but the simplicity and choice of materials is certainly within the Saab "persona,"
in my view.
