I will be one of the first to admit that as far as pure driving dynamics goes, the 9-3 aero is hard to beat, even by the BMW. My primary reasons for changing are to get a nicer finished off interior( and there is no questio in my mind that the bimmer wins this one) as well as to get some relief from that awful exhaust drone in the 9-3. Fingernails on chalkboard would sound like Pavarotti compared to this annoying drone. I am not expecting perfection, and have now owned 6 brand new Saabs as well as four new BMWs. Just needing a change of pace.I do appreciate the engineering virtues of a Saab, but Saab needs to remind itself that people buy cars for more than pure driving reasons. Good audio systems, cupholders, hands free phone links etc are also important.
