Sometimes, SAAB delays tuning upgrades for the sake of providing a second life to a product. Look what they did for the 9-5 Aero in second life. I for one had the first gen 9-5 aero and did an Abbott ECU upgrade which was hitchless. Loved that rocket ship til the day someone cut off my wife and totaled it.
I for one have been looking at the BSR stg 1 for my TurboX. I've asked BSR for more information about the limits of the drivetrain with 480Nm/350ftpnds of torque. I got more of a marketing answer than a technical one unfortunately. I just got the beast 2 months ago. I dont want to fry a totally new (1st gen) drive train. So if anyone has any specs on what the drive train is suppose to support, I'ld love to hear to give me better peace of mind.
Yea the suckers fast, but it could use more responsive low end umph and a wider torque curve. Especially if I can get peak torque 500 rpm lower :)
