I have been using Optima Red Top batteries in my 200 9-3 since the OEM battery went out, but I learned last time that you need to check the manufacturing date of a new battery. The last Optima I got died a month or so after purchase, but it had apparently been sitting around the store's warehouse for a while (I guess they had not had much demand for that size of the Red Top). Anyway, the battery was 6-9 months old when purchased. They replaced it with a "new" one and it has been fine.
