I meant to mention, the speedo is reading accurately (well, 3% high, as it always has...) it is only the Odometer that is running at 50%.
Actually Saabtech is where I took it and they were very nice. I live in the west burbs and they are simply not convenient for me to drop it for a day and pick it up. It was my first time there and he connected it to Tech II and told me it was a wheel sensor. He said the part was over $400 plus labor to install. I may still take it back if he is the only Saab guy around, but I was hoping to find someone in the burbs. I didn't press him on which one at the time, as I intended to bring it back to him anyway. It wasn't until I got home, researched the part on line and found it can be had for under $250, that I reconsidered. Had I been thinking, I would asked if he would tell me which one if I paid him for the 10 minutes he spend with me, then I could order it online and have my regular mechanic install it.
So that's what got me thinking of how I could figure out which sensor it was based on the odometer symptom.
