You may have gotten lucky and the alarm immobilizer is just tripped, but that should be able to be turned back off with the key - although if there is something shorted that is keeping the signal from the ignition switch getting to the CIM module that may be all it needs, some wiring fix.
Usually when the cars are repeatedly jump started incorrectly it will fry the SID display up by the windshield, and either the amplifier under the driver's seat or the main head unit for the stereo inside the dash, but if you're getting odometer and see the needles twitching the instruments are at least getting power, and since the locks are working the bus system for the body is working.
Hopefully it's just a short in the center console somewhere where it's been tapped, and it doesn't take too much to fix.
To make it worth your while to get it fixed you may want to get it towed to an independent shop that is willing to put in used parts rather than new parts only like a lot of dealership service departments (around here that's the case anyway) to save you some money if anything needs replaced.
Best,
Drew
