Just an updated. With good battery. Tried with tech2 a while longer. Cannot get DTC. Says cannot communicate with CIM. No response on i-bus. Flasher does not work. I tried getting info from various ecu. Some do work like the DDM driver door module. It shows h/w and software version.
So I think the I-bus should not be physically broken. I think it may be either the CIM or the ISM. Since the CIM is supposed to wake some ECUs on the I-bus temporarily at some point even without key inserted and there's no communication at all with the CIM I think it's dead. CIM should be always on to my understanding.
