It's not unheard of different modules dying on the early 9-3 Sport Sedan when battery goes dead or car has been improperly jump started.
It's been CIM's before that just packed up and went home so you might have to get a another one with matching remote or a brand new one.
Since you now have some life in the car. Try to remove key and then disconnect battery and jump battery cables together with a wire for a few minutes and then hook up the battery again and hope for the best.
That might drain modules and reboot the car properly.
