Good question.
Upon the termination of my lease, I will be buying my Saab and keeping it for a while. I just put a new clutch in (at 55,000 miles) and new Proxies tires. Plus, new brakes. So, for the foreseeable future, we are going to be a 2 Saab family (wife just bought her 9/3 3 door when her lease expired)
As for a new Saab? The "new" brand is not appealing to me at the present.
Too generic- They drive without that 'seat of the pants' feel. JMO-
Will they hire back their designer from Porsche? Who knows?
Maybe in the future, but now? I'd be hard pressed to recommend the new models based on the overall feel, and yes, I have driven all the "new" models...except the big SUV of course. That would NEVER be a consideration. Sort of reminds me of the Porsche SUV.. Super powerful in a straight line, but I dare you to take it around a tight corner..
P.s.
The 9/2 although fast, still is a Subaru Impreza. JMHO
Cheers!
