Do do-it-yourself oil changes void warranty?

Through my work, I have access to an auto club which has a fully equipped garage w/ frame lifts, tools, tire balancer, etc. I've performed the last three oil changes myself and intend to continue doing so every 5K miles, using a fully-syn oil. (I know changing fully-syn every 5k might be overkill but it's cheap insurance IMO). I won't mention the brand/weight of the oil or the oil filter (to avoid an oil debate), but I will say the oil & filter meet/exceed SAAB specs.

Anyway onto my original question, say I find prior to my CPO warranty expiring that I have a serious engine problem e.g. sluge, will this vehicle's warranty be intact, if I don't have dealer/mechanic receipts for oil changes? Are receipts for oil purchases from an auto parts store good enough proof that I properly maintained my vehicle? For that matter, do I even need to provide receipts? Is my word that I have maintained my vehicle good enough?

I originally intended to save my auto zone receipts for the oil changes, but I seem to have misplaced them, so now I have no proof of performing oil changes other than my word.





Perhaps due to my own maintenance or due to maintenance during the original 39K miles driven before I bought the vehicle CPO
