after I replace my leased '01 9-5 with an '05 Aero. Say I get another 4 year lease (would more likely be a 3 year for full warranty coverage) and the SAAB brand is 'retired' by GM. Would GM maintain SAAB franchises that don't sell vehicles -- just provide service? How does one get warranty service? Could I still get factory parts for my '95 NG900?
Perhaps it is too early to be so worried, but rumors abound about the possibility of the SAAB brand not surviving. What are the logistics of executing such a strategy?
On a more optomistic note, one would hope they would give the brand at least a couple years after introducing the new product lines...but who knows?!
