The PCV fixes have been put on old, as the fixes were increasing oil consumption. So dealer needs to talk to Saab about what to do at this point.
So PCV cannot handle amount of blow by gases. So the PCV has plugged hoses or orifices, or the rings are stuck. The orifice and check valve can easily be checked. Maybe loose head bolts allow gases to go from combustion chamber to oil passages, without hitting water passages. Cracked piston would also create blow by gas volumes. A check valve that does not work that allows boost pressure to get the the crankcase would also be a problem.
So you drive long or short trips?
What oil have you used?
How often has the oil been changed?
I would pull the valve cover and inspect for sluge and re-torque/check-torque the head bolts. Fish for sludge in the oil sump, inspect PVC hoses, check valve and orifice in TB. Could also check oil separator for crud and perhaps open up its holes. If not been using Mobil 1 oil, I would consider treatment for stuck piston rings using a solvent type oil addative or AutoRX.
Remember, that excessive crankcase pressure requires a combination of blowby gases normal or increased with PCV that is resticted or normal. It is a balance issue.
