You can analyze the numbers till you drop, but real world reports of performance and wear mean more to me. Last set of tires on my Aero were Michelin Pilot Sport A/S which lasted about 25 K miles, and towards the end of their life wore unevenly and got very noisy. Overall they were good tires though, although expensive for the number of miles they ran. Just went with Goodyear Eagle F-1 GS-D3 replacements and with about 1000 miles on them so far, they are far superior to anything else I have used. If you do decide to stick with a performance tire, these should make your short list. Tire rack's road reports on them were all good.
