Just a suggestion. Use D.T.E on the SID it will tell you more accurately what you are doing. If the miles to empty starts going low, ease out on the throttle and you will see that they start to go up. Sudden rushes and using the turbo at full ,increases your fuel consumption. SAAB is best on fuel consumption on long distances. I use the D.T.E more often then the average fuel indicator. The D.T.E eventually tells you what you are doing wrong.
