Bill---both Carter and Barrier quoted $225 each for the 16" wheels with Gislaveds. Both declined to sell me the 15" wheels that the owner's manual recommends for use with chains. Carter referred me to Tirerack for their package---15" steel wheels mounted with Blizzaks(195-65-15). I ordered those, I believe for a little over $500 for all 4, plus shipping. I haven't seen the bill or the tires yet. My first choice would have been Nokians, but Schwab wouldn't do a wheel plus tire package deal, so the end cost would have been much more. I never dreamed it would be so complicted! Now my next chore is to choose chains. I had Spikes Spyders for my Volvo, but Carter claims they never heard of them, so they don't want to install the hub device. So I'll probably just go with cables, on the theory I won't ever really need them anyway!
