Agreed about the V6 only having 250hp. It should be 280 at least, if not 300! As a 9-5 Aero owner, I think the top power should be in the flagship performance vehicle, don't ya think? If the 9-3 Aero (V6) has only 250, then at least bump up the 9-5 Aero to 300, or close to it. The competition is leaving SAAB in the dust! See, now I guess I'm ranting about the horsepower wars, which I said I wouldn't do. SAAB's perspective has always been to provide power when necessary, i.e. overtaking, which is does extremely well. Then we've got the whole front wheel drive issue, with being able to put big power to the wheels. I am a SAAB fanatic; I just want to see change with the times. I mean, if you compare performance vehicles in the same class as the 9-5 Aero, you get the Audi S6, BMW M5, AMG E-class, CTS-V, etc. The Aero doesn't have a chance in hell against the likes of these vehicles. Like I said, that was never SAAB's real aim with this thing, but at least update a little. I will drive a SAAB forever if they allow me, but I refuse to get my a$$ handed to me by a domestic mid-range because SAAB is not evolving. Sorry for the rant, I had to let it out....Happy SAABing guys!
