It appeared everyone was posting higher MPG numbers in metro areas. Scott called their bluff and well all hell broke loose.
I drive 10 miles a day after work Mon-Thu and Fri-Sun I do anywhere between 30-100 miles a day. I don't keep logs and when I want to haul ass I press that sport button and stomp on it.
This was just a little experiment, that gas needle heads south fast while in the city. I went 478 miles on a tank the other weekend in PA, but after I fill up the SID shows a DTE of mid/high 200's (250-280) in the city.
The culprit of really really really ridiculously low SID readings and gas consumption? Those 2 mile trips to the supermarket through busy city streets.
I can rest easy knowing that all is well [+30mpg highway mileage] and city mileage is what it is.
