They are basically like a Blizzak. They are a Nokian snow tire that has the silica compound. I do not think these particular ones are studdable. A couple of my friends have them. I think the Blizzak's are a little better on the ice than these but these are very good. The Hakka Qs are better at lateral grip than the Blizzaks, better in the dry, and last longer. The Hakka Qs cost about the same as the Hakka 2s.
Comparing the Hakka Qs to the studded Hakka 2s; The Q handles better in the dry if the 2s are studded. The 2s are better in the snow and ice if the 2s are studded. The Q is better than the 2 if the 2 is not studded. The 2 will last longer.
I will ask my friends opinions on the Qs and if I find anything out of the ordinary (at least negative) I will post it.
