Only had the opportunity to drive the sport model, as the standard suspension is still not available in my area (SoCal). Car's handling felt tight and nailed down, perhaps somewhat firmer shock setting than my recollection of my '02 Aero wagon, on not so smooth Cal. concrete interstate. My preference may be for the more compliant standard suspension, although if too much handling (body roll in particular) is sacrificed, I can live with the sport tuning. Drove a M45 Sport a couple of months ago. Now that was one stiff suspension! Interior and exterior rear view mirrors provided a constant blur due to the jiggle.
Apearance is not an issue for me, although the interior is more up to date, it definitely has taken on a more GM "patina". The tactile sensation of the buttons and dials is OK, not great.
All in all, I'm still a SportCombi shopper. Just trying to sort out the suspension issue, before a final decision on equipment, color, trim, etc.
