The main thing is to find out how often the oil was changed. Frequent changes will help engine durability. The Aero has a timing chain, not a belt, so it never gets replaced.
You might need brake pads at that point. The SID loses pixels. On a 2000 I'd replace the DIC as a precaution. Prices are down those now, to around $200 and well worth it. Struts and shocks might be getting near the end.
I'm a maintenance fanatic, but if I bought an Aero with 80K on it I'd plan on spending a pretty good amount on PM and I'd do this:
Oil change, radiator flush, new hoses. New serpentine belt if it hasn't been done yet. New DIC. Consider a new water pump when the belt's being replaced. (I just had the serp belt and pulleys replaced on my son's 94 900S but didn't do the water pump. 200 miles later the water pump pulley fell off and ate the new belt). New brake pads if necessary.
A well-maintained Aero with 80K on it is just getting started, as long as you keep the consummables in good shape.
