OK, so engine components being upgraded for base models in 2000 seems to be a big upgrade. Now, fill me in on the Turbo specifications between the models. In the 9000 world, you can get a CS LPT to be a CSE FPT with a chip upgrade and a few minor tweaks. The turbo itself is the same between the trim packages. Same story on the 9-5? So would a base (is that Linear?) become an Arc (next level?) with a chip upgrade, or are the turbos themselves different?
One other question since I have battled oil pressure issues on the NG900: if buying from a used auto dealer, how much can you ask for? I would love to see the inside of the valve cover and get a pressure test done. Could I ask for these things long distance and have them send pictures and stats from the pressure test? I am guessing they will just tell me to get lost. Advice?
