Uneven Rear Tire Wear - Aero Sedan 02

I have a 2002 9-5 Aero sedan with 47k. I purchased the car 10k ago and it drove beautifully. I have had the car parked most of the winter but began noticing some vibration in the fall before I parked it. I took it out recently to get the tires (Toyo Proxes)rotated, and found that the rear tires were wearing very badly on the inside edges. These were new when I purchased my Aero. I was told I needed new shocks, but I don't see any leaking and they pass the bounce test.
I have seen various posts guestimating at different fixes, but would be grateful to hear from someone who had this problem and fixed it.
