I moved up a size, gleaned info from here (Dean and others) and BITOG. I use the PureOne 20195, I don't know which Delco PF number that is. There more than a couple that fit, the seat and thread are extremely common (Lexus, GM, Ford, Chrysler, etc.)
It's also the filter the PT cruiser turbo takes, while the n/a cruiser takes the stock Saab filter size (which fits a jillion cars). Easier to remember that way (and wonder why saab used the same filter for turbo and n/a applications lately).
I don't remember specifically but people on BITOG had put fears of different pressure drops in different filters to rest. The only other issue may be proximity to the exhuast, but with frequent changes I don't see that being an issue, there's no shield for either filter and it doesn't come so close that you'd risk even burning your fingers R&Ring it.
