I posted this comment earlier but worth mentioning again. The local SAAB Dealer told me the only major work they've done on the 9-5 V-6 is turbocharger replacements and had the heads off a couple for a neglected cam-belts to replace bent valves. They've never been into the bottom end on a V-6! They had lots of stories on the I-4 such as sludging, head gaskets, head bolts, excessive blow-by issues, cam chain tensioners, etc. I'm a little biased as I was one of the few SAAB buyers that wanted only the V-6. But not looking forward to the 60K mile service.
