I think I really fudged it up this time... Posted by Johnson [Email] (#3237) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Johnson) on Thu, 20 Apr 2006 23:39:51 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have no idea what I have done, but when ever my car has been sitting for any lenght of time and has "cooled" off if such a thing happens in az, and I start it, when I put it in gear and have my foot on the break, there is a very harsh vibration, no real noise, just a vibration. As soon as I let off the break and give it just the slightest bit of gas, the vibration goes away. And if I drive for a few miles in a "spirited" way, the vibration myseriously goes away. I thought about maybe a bad engine mount somewhere, but why would it go away when the engine has warmed up, and when I push on the gas? the only thing I have really done is switch to using mobil 1 synthetic in the tranny. I have a MY99 auto 2.3 w/ 120k miles. Thanks for any suggestions!
