Most likely the tires are slightly out of balance. However if the balance is verified, it's probably the tire is out of round.
A steering vibration after a certain speed is normally a tire related issue. (I know you said 70mph, but does it "peak" at a certain speed?) A tire balance or round issue will always have peaks, due to harmonics, however often that peak is at a very high speed, which a driver will report that the vibration just gets worse as the car speeds up.
If the vibration is during braking, it's likely rotors.
If the vibration is present from zero speed up, it's likely bearings.
If the car is pulling, it's likely alignment.
If the vibration is when the car is off, it's likely an earthquake. Please proceed to pull over to the side of the road in the event of an earthquake, and prepare to clean undergarments.
