I had a similar issue with my Chrysler and it was indeed, the tires were out-of-round. Here in the Northwest, we have a tire store called Les Schwab which is known for customer service but not quality tires or service. I bought their best touring tires and the car shook at speeds. After multiple attempts to solve the problem with re-balancing and relocating tire positions, I (they) gave up and went to a store that sold Michelin's. Problem solved. I believe Michelin does make a very good (and round) tire. My V-6 SAAB had Kumho tires on it when I bought it (still does). I've had the car upto 100+ MPH with no vibration. "Hunter" could be right. Bad tires.
