Previous saab owner here (late 80's 900's) looking to get back into them. 2 SUV family. Getting rid of one. I want to replace one and get a 9-5 (2002-2003) for my wife. She, and her family, are honda people. Seems like the 9-5 is a good vehicle. However, I don't know much about them. I think I would prefer an Aero. But, would consider the linear as well. Is there enough power with the linear? Can anyone shed some light on the known problemm areas with 9-5's? I will most likely be buying from the dealer auction directly, so won't be dealing with a dealer (just a short transfer) so no warranties, etc.
Also, compare the 9-5 with the 9-3. Might consider a second saab/car, one for myself. Would more likely be a late 90's 900 or '99 9-3. Issues with those?
All help is greatly appreciated.
