Chris,
Saab 95 -- 1999 100,000 miles -- Fun car to drive. It has a tight European feel. Parts are expensive. This web site is very helpful.
1 -- My direct ignition module died. Car would not start. $450.00
2 -- Gas gauge sensor (inside the gas tank) shorted out to ground. Kept blowing fuses. Replaced wire.
3 -- Blower motor for heater and AC stopped running. Replaced brushes.
4 -- Now a problem with a difficult down shift from 3rd to 2nd. (4 cylinder manual transmission) Going to try changing fluid to redline MTL.
My neighbor has the same car. He had a plastic idler pully wear out and a heater valve on the firewall needed replacement.
Does anyone have a solution to fixing the display for temp, gas milage and time. Mine is getting difficult to read. How expensive is a new one.
Despite these problems, I love the car. It is fun and sporty to drive!
