I went to Valvoline's site and found the 10w-30 and 5w-30 to be like you both said, the same basic viscosity at the temperatures we have here. So I'm going to use it for now. Sometimes a "sale" makes me try something else as the Valvoline 100% synthetic will be just over $3.00 a quart after rebate. I too change oil probably too often. I try to change it every 4-5000 miles. Hope to find a sale on Amsoil and next time I do, I will buy several cases. I was just worried with the CPO warranty that SAAB might void it if they found out 10w-30 was used? I've got lots of 10w-30 synthetic stored up. 15 quarts of Pennzoil and 10 quarts of Havoline. Also have 6 cases of Kendall 10w-30 GT-1 dyno oil but I guess no vehicle to use it in. Never want to run short on oil. :-)
