While i may drive a 9k the engines are pretty much identicalshort of the t7 and a few different parts so the procedure so be the same. I've been through this twice. Was 1500 at saab dealer and 1100 with an independent who had a certified saab tech. Its a very involved job with lots of parts being removed to change the headgasket. When the head is removed it will be sent out to a machine shop to be checked for pitting, cracks, deck clearance and be fixed accordingly. Biggest thing i would suggest doing is if you get this done, have the dealer inspect the motor mounts and have them call you on how they look and what they suggest. I really wish i had redone my mounts this last time through as i need to do them now.
