I also have a 99 9-5 Wagon, and have similar issues of cupping, but they don't seem to be as bad as yours.
Steve posted a lot on this board about it, and many of us wagon folk were watching closely. In his case, the rear subframe had deformed such that there was no way to properly set the camber and toe correctly, if I recall.
Interestingly, my 05 9-5 Wagon also seems to wear more on the inside of the rear tires too. It may be a penalty we pay for having great cornering and handling... a compromise that doesn't work when the components get older!
