02-03 Arc SportWagons are cool, literally.... The 02-03 V6 Arcs all came standard with the premium package and vented seats. I don't get much use out of my vented seats close to the coast in SoCal, but if it gets hot where you are they work swell.
Either/or that year in non Aeros. The Linears had the 2.3 light pressure turbo good for 185 hp, and the premium package was optional, memory drivers seat, auto dim inside mirror, Harmon Kardon sound. The Linears had somewhat better fuel economy, and a lighter feel up front if driven back to back with a V6 Arc. There are old time folks who love the turbo fours, to some the essence of a Saab.
The 200 hp V6's are very mildly turbo'd, actually only one cylinder bank drives the turbo, very torquey, mucho snap out of the whole, smoother, sing a nicer song, and seem to be about equal or maybe even a little better on reliability and service issues.
I wouldn't reject an older, pre mid cycle enhancement, 2000-2001, for the right price. Nor would I reject an 02-03 Linear without the premium package, for the right deal. It's all good. Have you considered an Aero too?
And all the cool people drive SportWagons.....
