I would get the Vin # and have it run through a saab dealer's computer. It will tell all work done under warranty or by a dealer. At that mileage has it had the 60k check? That's not a cheap one and a lot of times people sell at that point instead of sticking with the car and maintenance. I would have an independent mechanic check it out if possible or else query the dealership (if Saab) it came from to find out about the car. You can also get a Carfax subscription. I say all this because it's what I've done before looking for cars and because I'm selling a wagon on saabnet now and I recommend that the people who are interested to their research. It just helps if all the facts are out there. A wagon priced at the price you listed is actually more like a 12 grand car if it needs the 60k service, tires, a detail, battery, or other minor things. It never hurts to have too much information in these kinds of deals.
