I don't know how many people here live in areas where it gets over 110 degrees very often, but it is like that here in az for 3 1/2 months solid, plus the odd day here and there. That is when I have my problems, when it is that hot outside, I hit the gas, and nothing happens till the engine hits 2500 rpm or so, then it is like somebody stuck a rocket in my behind. it is in that 1 1/2 second pause when I have the problem, and only from a dead stop. If I am already going fine, once I hit 2500 rpm fine, but that pause is a killer. Just tonight on my way home from visiting my parents, it was a nice 70 degrees outside, puch the gas and I take off, tires struggling to find the ground. but earlier today, per the local weather, and my sid, it got up to about 96 or so. and I started to feel the turbo lag kick in. Not nearly as bad as when it is 110, but still I could feel the momentary pause, when I fell like I have regular car, not a turbo saab.
