Based on my '91 9000 (at 50K, cracked and peeling belt, one loose and rattling idler pulley, one tight and binding idler pulley) I changed as close to 50K as I could manage (about 53,000 miles, 5 years).
I needn't have bothered. The belt ("Hutchinson") was completely crack free. I felt some roughness on the ribs - turned out they were the molding nibs. The bearings were all smooth turning and had that "grease still in there" feel. But I'm not sure I'd trust it to 120K. Maybe you should carry a "short belt" in case the center pulley goes.
