intermitant? so its prob not a vac leak agreed?...My guess is the ECM is getting a bad signal from the MAF/AMM...could just be very dirty or could be sensor related...you could pop it off clean (gently) the wires/contacts with an electric component solvent and see if that helps...from my past reads boost problems (low boost) are related either to vac leaks, BPC, BPV, improper waste gate function, or MAF/AMM...MAF replacement is very easy DIY process. Sorry Herb some of this may seem redundant to what others have posted and what you've found on searching this and the 9-3 board.
